PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

  1. To be proficient and competent in core engineering that prepares the students for rewarding careers and professional growth in areas of computer science and engineering such as networking, software development, datmining and other areas of application development.
  2. To understand and use modern computer science and engineering technologies and concepts that will enable them to formulate, analyze, and solve engineering problems.
  3. To pursue in higher education or to engage in career path and exhibit professionalism, social and ethical attitude,good communication skills and attitude towards lifelong learning.
  4. To be able to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
  5. To update and develop knowledge and skills to keep up to date with changing technologies.

Programme Outcomes (POS)

  1. Graduates will be able to demonstrate the basic knowledge in mathematics, science and core computer science and engineering subjects.
  2. Graduates will be able to identify, formulate, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using principles using mathematics, science, and core computer science and engineering subjects.
  3. Graduates will be able to design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for societal and environmental considerations.
  4. Graduates will be able to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
  5. Graduates will be able to use modern techniques, skills, and tools necessary for computing practice.
  6. Graduates will demonstrate an understanding of their professional and ethical responsibilities and will be able to work effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams and in multidisciplinary settings.
  7. Graduates will be equipped to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
  8. Graduate will be able to identify the need and have ability to engage in life-long learning to engage in continuing professional development.
